Philip Girgis, DMD

Dr. Philip Girgis has been practicing in La Grange since 1993. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Lakeside Medical Center (Northwestern University Dental School).

Dr. Philip is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society, where he is currently serving on the peer review committee. Dr. Philip is also a member of the medical staff at La Grange Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital and RML Hospital.

He recently celebrated 30 years of marriage with his wife, Maggie. Together, they have 5 children and two grandchildren (more on the way...). When he is away from the office he enjoys traveling, boating and following the Chicago Cubs.

Loretta Lam, DDS

Dr. Loretta Lam completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. Dr. Lam has over twenty years of dental experience. She attended Loyola University of Chicago for her undergraduate degree, where she was 60th on the Dean’s List and elected to the National Honor Society in Psychology.

Her philosophy in dentistry centers around listening to the needs of the patients and working with them to achieve a happy and healthy smile. Patients find her gentle approach to dentistry very calming. Dr. Lam has over a hundred hours of continuing education in dentistry and always enjoys enhancing her dental knowledge.

In her spare time, she performs improv, takes lessons for guitar and piano, enjoys water activities, likes to learn different dancing styles, relaxes her mind with tai chi, and volunteers at a dog shelter where she cares for unwanted dogs and help them learn what it means to be loved again.

Peter Girgis, DMD

Dr. Peter Girgis is a graduate of Lyons Township High School. Following high school, he attended Wheaton College where he graduated with honors in political science. He then attended the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine for his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, where he was elected graduation class speaker. He also received an internship certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Peter holds or has held memberships in the following organizations: American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Girgis enjoys spending time with his wife, Sally, and two girls, Audrey and Emma. He enjoys competing in half marathons and reading in his free time.

Jacqueline Wisinski, DMD

Dr. Jackie Wisinski received her undergraduate degree from Loyola University Chicago and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During dental school she received an award from Illinois Academy of General Dentistry and was elected to be a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Jackie is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Endodontists. She also holds a membership with the American Dental Education Association where she was very active during her time at dental school. She currently is continuing her passion for teaching as a faculty member at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

When not immersed in patient care, she can usually be found outdoors training for a race, playing at the park with her dog, Bailey, or exploring the city of Chicago with her husband of 10 years, Brandon. Together they enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
